I’m sure that few people here really care about Mitt Romney and the Republican Party at large, and just link with the political perspective of Furthur & Democracy Now.

Romney/Ryan rolls right off the tongue, Mitt could adapt Ryans budget & tax plans, call them his own, while adding some substantive language to his so-called “plan for the middle class”. This would prove to be a good marketing ploy for Romney. Ryan is something of a pitbull and would fare reasonably well in the fall VP debate against Joe Biden.

Romney/Rubio rings well, Mitt might believe that Rubio could possibly swing some of the hispanic vote, but Mitt already has Arizona, Florida and Texas under his belt and will not get California. Rubio would prove to be somewhat difficult to sell in the “what if” scenario, think Dan Quail.

Romney/Rice sings, Condy has vast Government experience, (which may present a conflict for Mitts ego) and she understands the world stage and could help with Romneys obvious lack of foreign policy knowledge and wisdom. She could also sew-up the “what if” question, think steel balls.

I will admit this, I switched from a registered democrat to independent out of disgust for the two-party political system this year and will never forget the look on the old mans face 38 years ago this evening while watching the evening news.

Sorry for the rant, we all know that The Grateful Dead weren’t political!

Yeah right, nod-nod, wink-wink! :-) :--)

Nobody for president. That's the GD party line.

Vote out every single incumbent is the only way I can see to begin any constructive process.

In the alternative we could just put Maxine Waters in charge of both houses, & make her Chief Justice. Could be that we would admit we'd reached rock bottom then. They say that is the only way to get a fresh start.

May not have been political, but I can guaran-goddam-tee you that no member of that band would ever say something like, "Romney/Rice sings."
